Dragonflies
32 Months To 42 Months 

In Our Dragonflies Room we encourage independence this is encouraged in this room by children making their own choices from snack to activities they want to explore.
In this room children can begin to access their government funding 15 hours or 30 hours.
Children learn Name recognition by finding their name cards at mealtimes.
Children come in this room around 30 months before they go into our Butterfly pre-school room where they prepare for school.
The room is designed so children can investigate and experiment with new materials, sounds and movement both indoors and out. In this room children begin self-serve with pouring their own drinks and serving their own food with support from staff. Children are also able to use the toilets independently.
